JUSTIFICATION:
The Police Department purchased a new helicopter in 2005. To properly maintain the
helipcopter the Police Department is in needed for maintenance and repair of the helicopter.

CUSTOMER / CITIZENS?
The provision of the maintenance and repair of the helicopter is necessary to assist with
homeland security and drug intradiction.

Two responses were received pursuant to Bid No. 05-06-050, for the provision of helicopter
maintenance and repair. Rotortech Services submitted he lowest responsive and responsible bid
and is recommended as the primary vendor and Cav-Air is recommended as the secondary
vendor.
