Director City Manager If using or receiving capital funds Grants Purchasin Chief 7.1 • Page 1 of 1 ATTACHMENT The Department of Police has analyzed bids received pursuant to issuance of Bid No. 05- 06-055 for the purchase of disposable restraints and evidence tape on an item -by -item basis. Sixty-four (64) invitations for bids were mailed and six (6) responses were received. Armor Holdings Forensics submitted the lowest most responsible and responsive bid for item no. 2, and The Peavey Corp. d/b/a Lynn Peavy Co. submitted the lowest most responsive and responsible bid for item no. 3. Florida Police Products submitted the lowest most responsive and responsible bid for item no. 1; however, through an evaluation, by the Department of Police, it was determined that item no. 1 was defective. Attached is a memo giving a full report of the evaluation conducted by the Officer Survival Detail. The bid response for item no. 1 has been rejected. ResoRestraintsEvidenceTape05-06-055
