2.01 Eligible Products:
Boat Motors offered under the Contract shall be classified under nine (9) commodity numbers as
follows:

2.02 Performance Standards:
All work performed shall comply with customary, reasonable, and prudent standards of care in the
industry. Product shall be covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty for commercial
applications. All motors shall be sound sealed and completely free of vibration induced noise. They
must be equipped with a waterproof ignition and have a mechanical gear shift for neutral, forward and
reverse unless otherwise specified. Motors below 25 horsepower (hp) shall be provided with the
standard aluminum propeller and a portable fuel tank. For motors 25 hp and above, propeller will be
ordered separately as well as controls for non -tiller steer motors. Motors will be supplied with
appropriate connectors for existing controls or those to be ordered. Stainless steel propellers may be
substituted for the aluminum propellers at a price equal to the difference in list prices minus the
discount. For motors 25 hp and above, Contractor will be responsible for verifying with the ordering
agency the need for a propeller and advising the proper size for their application.
2.03 Technical Documentation:
Technical documentation, including printed technical literature, is required to be submitted with the
bid package. The purpose of the documentation is to demonstrate compliance of the product bid with
applicable technical requirements of the ITB and to allow a technical evaluation of the product.
Providers are required to bid products that meet or exceed all conditions and specifications of the ITB.
