A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING THE BID OF VARIOUS VENDORS, RECEIVED JUNE 14, 2006,
PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 05-06-034, FOR THE PROVISION OF
MOTOROLA RADIO PARTS, BATTERIES AND ACCESSORIES, CITYWIDE, FOR
AN INITIAL CONTRACTUAL PERIOD OF TWO (2) YEARS, WITH THE OPTION TO
RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, UNDER THE BID
PRICES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AS ATTACHED; ALLOCATING FUNDS, FROM
THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS, FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS AND
AGENCIES; AUTHORIZING SAID PURCHASES ON AN AS -NEEDED BASIS,
SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT
THE TIME OF NEED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE ATTACHED
CONTRACT BY OTHER CITY DEPARTMENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
TERMS OF THIS RESOLUTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of various vendors, received June 14, 2006, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No.
05-06-034, for the provision of Motorola radio parts, batteries and accessories, Citywide, for an initial
contractual period of two (2) years, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods,
under the bid prices, terms and conditions, as attached, is accepted, with funds allocated from the
various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, and authorizing said purchases on
an as -needed basis, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 2. Other City departments and agencies are authorized to use the bid prices, terms and
conditions on a Citywide basis, of the attached contract, at the same unit prices, for the same
services, by execution of an amendment or purchase order, with funds allocated from the various
sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, with said purchases authorized on an
as -needed basis, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
