FLAMMABILITY CLASSIFICATION: FLASH POINT - Higher than 200°F (PMCC)
EXPLOSION LIMITS: (APPROX PERCENT BY VOL IN AIR) LEL: 1.6% UEL: 10,2%
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: CO2, foam or dry chemical. Large fires dry chemical or foam.
FIREFIGHTING PROCEDURE: SCBA recommended for firefighters. Use water to keep fire
exposed surfaces cool. If a leak or spill has not ignited, use water spray to disperse
vapors and to protect persons trying to stop a leak.
DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Fumes, smoke, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxides, aldehydes and
other decomposition products.

concentrated oxygen, sodium hypochlorite, and calcium hypochlorite.
SECTION VI - HEALTH HAZARD & FIRST AID
EYES: May cause irritation.
SKIN: Repeated or extended contact with skin may cause irritation. Skin contact may
aggravate and existing skin condition.
INHALATION: High vapor concentrations are irritating to the eyes and the respiratory
tract and may cause dizziness, drowsiness, headaches, unconsciousness,
anesthesia, and other central nervousness system effects.
INGESTION: Harmful if swallowed. Do not induce vomiting. Contact a physician
immediately.
=CAL CONDITIONS PRONE TO AGGRAVATION BY EXPOSURE: Persons with allergies or pre-
existing skin conditions should avoid contact with this product.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURE:
EYES: Flush with large amounts of water for 15 minutes or until irritation
subsides. Consult physician if• irritation persists.
SKIN: Remove source of contact. Wash skin with soap and water. Consult physician if
irritation persists.
INGESTION: Do Not induce vomiting. Call physician immediately,
INHALATION: If overcome by vapors, remove victim to fresh air and contact physician
immediately. If breathing is irregular or has stopped, start resuscitation,
administer oxygen if available.

SECTION VII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Shut off and eliminate all
sources of ignition. Collect free product. Add sand, dirt or other suitable absorbent
to the area. Ventilate confined area. Minimize skin contact and breathing vapors. Keep
out of sewers and waterways. Monitor absorbed material for vapors.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: In accordance with all Federal, State and Local regulations.
SECTION VIII - SAFE HANDLING AND USE INFORMATION
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Especially in confined or enclosed spaces, use NIOSH approved
respirators with cartridges or depending on concentration levels, supplied air equipment.
VENTILATION: Provide adequate mechanical ventilation sufficient to keep exposure limit
below recommended exposure limit (300 ppm/8 hour day). No smoking, no use of flame or
other ignitable sources.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Chemically resistant gloves are recommended. Wear impervious
clothing to avoid prolonged skin contact. Full -face shield for eye protection. When
required, wear non-skid footwear.
HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Wash thoroughly after handling. Launder contaminated clothing
Hefore reuse.
SECTION IX - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Keep all containers closed when not in
use. Do not store near heat, sparks, flame or strong oxidants. Store in cool, properly
ventilated areas. Use only with proper ventilation. Bond and ground all transfer
equipment in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association standards for
petroleum products. Not recommended for use around heat, sparks, pilot lights, static
electricity or open flame.
WARNING: Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose empty
containers to heat, flame, sparks, static electricity or any source of ignition. Empty
drums -should be thoroughly drained, properly bunged and sent to a drum reconditioner.
