Answer to Question #2- You must be a certified MWBE vendor with the School District of Palm Beach County or
the Stae of Florida to be eligible for the minority preference at the time that the bid was released.

• Please refer to the "AWARD" section of the bid document, which reads in part:
For Item 1 (A-B) the awardee must be an authorized Kenwood distributor and authorized by Kenwood to
conduct business with service centers in Palm Beach, Broward or Martin Counties.
For Item #9 (A-T), the contract will be awarded to all responsive, responsible bidders offering a single fixed
percentage discounts off the balance of line for each manufacturer's price list/catalog submitted that results in

We manufacture leather & nylon carry cases for the radios requested. Is their an oportunity to bid on cases

• Please see 'Bid Comments, Award' second paragraph, which reads: For Item #9 A-T, the contract will be
awarded to all responsive, responsible bidders offering single fixed percentage discounts off the balance of line
for each manufacturer's price list/catalog submitted that results in the lowest price for the District. Bidders who
submit the best discounts will be in the best position to receive the District's business.

item # 9, items K & L. Does the station have to have 125 watts. The stations we sell have a maximum of 100
watts. Do you have to bid on the 800 Mhz items? Do you have to bid on the crosband repeaters? Can you bid on
only certain items in this category or do you have to bid on all of the items? How do you upload the price list? I
have an electronic copy. How do you upload the manufactturers authorization letter as well a list of authorized

• For Items 9 K-L we are looking for a variety of repeaters, ie: we may need a 5 watt for one purpose, a 100 watt
for another, and so on, The bid asks for a percentage discount on the repeaters therefore if at time of order you
do not have the wattage we require, we would move to the bidder / catalog with the next highest percentage

Bid summary document for item # 9 asks "is list of authorized service facilites, including addresses, telephone
numbers and contact persons uploaded? I cannot find any info regarding this anywhere in the bid documents? Can
the service center be located in Broward County? There is a reference to Kenwood in the bid for the other bid item
