Corrected Scrivener's Error -Resolution No. 06-0471 adopted
July 27, 2006 (File No. 06-01329)
Resolution No. 06-0471, adopted July 27, 2006, contains a scrivener's in the title
and in Section one. An incorrect effective date of the contract was shown in the
Resolution.
A correction of the date to reflect January 17, 2009, has been made to the
Resolution.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, APPROVING THE
CONTRACT FOR PORTABLE AND MOBILE RADIOS AND ACCESSORIES FROM
VARIOUS VENDORS, PURSUANT TO SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH
COUNTY CONTRACT NO. 06C-31R, EFFECTIVE THROUGH JANUARY 17, 2009,
SUBJECT TO ANY EXTENSIONS AND OR REPLACEMENT CONTRACTS BY
THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, TO BE UTILIZED ON AN
AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM VARIOUS
SOURCES OF FUNDS OF THE USER DEPARTMENT, SUBJECT TO THE
AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGET APPROVAL AT TIME OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The contract for portable and mobile radios and accessories from various vendors,
pursuant to School District of Palm Beach County Contract No. 06C-31R, effective through January
17, 2009, subject to any extensions or replacement contracts by the School District of Palm Beach
County, to be utilized on an as -needed contract basis, is approved, with funds allocated from various
sources of funds of the user department, subject to the availability of funds and budget approval at
time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
