A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 04-0721, ADOPTED NOVEMBER 18, 2004, FOR THE PURCHASE OF
RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES FROM VARIOUS VENDORS ON
AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION, TO REFLECT A CHANGE CONVERTING SAID CONTRACT TO A
CITYWIDE CONTRACT, AND TO CHANGE THE ANNUAL AMOUNT OF THE
CONTRACT TO ALLOW FOR EXPENDITURES SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY
OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 04-0721, adopted November 18, 2004, approved the procurement
of recreational equipment and supplies for the Department of Parks and Recreation, on an as -needed
contract basis, pursuant to Bid No. 03-04-128, for a two-year period with the option to renew for two
(2) additional one-year periods, for an annual amount not to exceed $121,261.36; and
WHEREAS, there exists a need to change said contract to a Citywide contract and to change
the annual amount of the contract;
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section,
Section 2. Resolution No. 04-0721, adopted November 18, 2004, is amended in the following
