IMPROVEMENT/ DREDGING PROJECTS FOR MISCELLANEOUS.

POST, BUCKLEY, SCHUH, AND JERNIGAN (PBS&J)
This Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement dated January
21, 2005 (the "Agreement") between the City of Miami, a municipal corporation of the
State of Florida ("CITY"), and Post, Buckley, Schuh, and Jernigan, a Florida corporation
("Consultant") for the provision of Civil Engineering services for Storm Sewer/Road
Improvement/Dredging Projects on a continuing basis for miscellaneous projects
("Project") is entered into this day of , 2006.
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 18-87 of the Code of the City of Miami and RFQ
No. 02-03-163, on January 21, 2005 the City and the Consultant entered into the
Agreement in an amount not to exceed $500,000 for the Scope of Work described in the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the City's best interest to increase
the contract amount by $158,932 from an amount not to exceed $500,000 to an amount
not to exceed $658,932, to cover the anticipated costs for performing additional water
quality monitoring services (the "Additional Scope of Services"); and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has adopted Resolution No. on
2006 to approve this amendment to the Agreement, to include the Additional
Scope of Services and the corresponding increase in contract amount.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the parties hereby amend
the Agreement as follows:
ARTICLE 2. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Section 2.03 Scope of Services. Consultant agrees to provide the
services, as specifically described, and under the special terms and
conditions set forth in Attachment 1 hereto, entitled "Additional Scope of
Services", which by this reference is incorporated into and made a part of
this Agreement.
Section 2.04-1 Compensation Limits
The maximum amount of compensation payable by the CITY to
CONSULTANT for the Additional Scope of Services is $158,932 thereby
increasing the maximum amount of compensation payable by the City to
the Consultant under the Agreement to Six Hundred Thousand Fifty Eight
Nine Hundred and Thirty Two Dollars ($658,932)

Except as specifically provided herein, all of the terms and conditions of the
Agreement are in operative force and effect and remain unchanged.
