HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci.miami.fl.us File Number: 06-01190 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $8,708.15, FOR THE PROVISION OF CITY OF MIAMI SERVICES, FOR THE "DESFILE DOMINICANO, " THE FIRST DOMINICAN FESTIVAL AND PARADE TO BE HELD AT DUARTE PARK ON AUGUST 20, 2006; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS FROM THE DISTRICT 1 SPECIAL EVENTS/FESTIVAL ACCOUNT NO. 001000.921054.6.289. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The allocation of funds, in the amount not to exceed $8,708.15, for the provision of City of Miami services, for the "Desfile Dominicano," the first Dominican Festival and Parade to be held at Duarte Park on August 20, 2006, is authorized, with funds allocated from the District 1 Special Events/Festival Account No. 001000.921054.6.289. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JORGE L. FERNANDEZ CITY ATTORNEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
