NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
June 22, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of waiving the requirements of
obtaining sealed bids for the sole source acquisition of defibrillator/monitors, accessories
and equipment maintenance from Medtronic Emergency Response Systems, Inc., on an
as needed contract basis.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such a product who feel that they might be able
to satisfy the City's requirement for this item may contact Maritza Suarez, CPPB, City of
Miami Department of Purchasing, at (305) 416-1907.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
Clerk at (305) 250-5360 (Voice) no later than two (2) business days prior to the
proceeding or at (305) 250-5472 (TTY) no later than three (3) business days prior to the
proceeding.
