HomeMy WebLinkAboutSubmittal-Committee Reso.05/12/2006 FRI 08:43 FAX 3056797548 ZONING EVALUATION L 002 SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE RESOLUTION 05 - SDRC - 015 WHEREAS, Aja on the Bay, L.L.C., has applied for a review of a site plan for The Electra on the Bay Condominium project located at between NE 26 Terrace and NE 26 Street adjacent to Biscayne Bay, in the City of Miami, Florida, and as fully described in the attached recommendations and site plans; and WHEREAS, the proposed project will consist of residential tower with liner units along the facades of the six level parking structure for a total of an 129 units with approximately 35 floors. The tower component of the project adjacent to Biscayne Bay will have a height of approximately 439'-3"' and house 105 condominium units with a multi -level parking structure and additional guest parking facilities lined with 24 additional residential units facing NE 26 Terrace and NE 26 Street. The plan incorporates a private boardwalk with amenities along the shoreline area; and WHEREAS, the subject application as filed with the Miami -Dade County Department of Planning and Zoning dated/stamped/received April 17, 2006, requests site plan approval; and WHEREAS, the Shoreline Development Review Committee considered whether and the extent to which the project as presented conformed to the Miami -Dade County Comprehensive Development Master Plan and the Biscayne Bay Management Plan; and WHEREAS, the Shoreline Development Review Committee of Miami -Dade County has as one of its primary responsibilities, the duty to determine the extent to which any plan or development action, as proposed, is in conformance with Article 1I1 of Chapter 33D of the Code of Miami -Dade County and with the minimum standards set forth in Miami -Dade County Resolution 85-257; and WHEREAS, the Committee considered the recommendations of Miami -Dade County staff as part of its review; and S 5 1 ubrrii ted Into iho puhilc record in connection with Item ?Z. 5 on s ss o v Priscilla A. Thompson " City Clerk 05/12/2006 FRI 08:44 FAX 3056797548 ZONING EVALUATION Ijoo3 WHEREAS, a public meeting of the Shoreline Development Review Committee of Miami -Dade County, Florida, was advertised and held, and all interested parties in the matter were heard, and upon due and proper consideration having been given to the matter; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that at its advertised meeting of February 16, 2006, the Biscayne Bay Shoreline Development Review Committee, as moved by Gladys Margarita Diaz and seconded by Jorge Azze, recommended approval of the development action as presented and enumerated in the attached staff reports and site plans with the following provisions and/or conditions: 1. That the final landscaping plans be consistent with the site and architectural plans. 2. That the final 2 sets of plans be signed and sealed Nth all sheets properly dated and numbered. 3. That an as -built survey of the completed project be submitted to the County's Shoreline Development Review staff within 90 days after the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy.
