A motion was made by Robin Bosco and seconded by Robert Behar for a resolution recommending
to the director of the Department of Planning approud for a Major Use Special Permit for the project
1080 Brickell A located at 1080 Brickell Avenue with a vote of 5 to 0.

Conditions:
• Refine the ground floor plane of the building particularly the entrances facing First Avenue.
• Review the height and space created by the covered entrance from Brickell Avenue.
• The proposed metal Iouvers need to be further reviewed by staff. Not enough information is
provided to ensure details of how they will look and whether they are backed with screen to
prevent light glare. Look at using a combination of glass or other materials as a double layer.
• The ramp of the north side of the building needs to be recessed a minimum of 5' from the edge
of the building frontage line on Brickell Avenue.
Comments:
• The space created between the office and residential buildings is very tight and unusable.
