The additional $73,894 is for the cost of personnel with social security and the cost of necessary expenses allowed by the State of Florida needed to run the program. Background Information: Every summer, the City of Miami Department of Parks and Recreation sponsors a Summer Food Service Program for children which provides nutritional meals and snacks in conjunction with its comprehensive recreational program. The United States Department of Agriculture, through the Florida Department of Education, provides funding on a reimbursement basis to cover the costs of food, staff, transportation, etc. As per attached agreement model.
