HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci.miami.fl.us File Number: 06-00793 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF ROYAL RENT -A -CAR SYSTEM OF FLORIDA, INC., THE PRIMARY LOWEST RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER AND ENTERPRISE LEASING COMPANY, INC., THE SECONDARY LOWEST RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, RECEIVED MARCH 20, 2006, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 04-05-104, FOR RENTAL OF VEHICLES CITYWIDE, TO BE UTILIZED BY VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS, ON AN AS- NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL TWO (2) YEAR PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bids of Royal Rent-A-Car System of Florida, Inc., the primary lowest responsive, responsible bidder and Enterprise Leasing Company, Inc., the secondary lowest responsive, responsible bidder, received March 20, 2006, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 04-05-104, for the rental of vehicles Citywide, to be utilized by various user departments, on an as -needed contract basis, for an initial two (2) year period, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, are accepted. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1 } APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JORGE L. FERNANDEZ CITY ATTORNEY Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
