A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 06-0125, ADOPTED FEBRUARY 23, 2006, TO
CANCEL THE CONVEYANCE OF LAND LOCATED AT 1630 NORTHWEST 58
TERRACE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FROM THE CITY OF MIAMI DEPARTMENT OF
OFF-STREET PARKING, SO THAT THE PROPERTY CAN BE DEVELOPED AS A
PUBLIC PARKING LOT.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 06-0125, adopted February 23, 2006, authorized the City Manager to
accept a Quit Claim Deed from the Department of Off -Street Parking ("DOSP"), to the City of Miami
("City"), for the conveyance of two properties, as legally described in "Exhibit A," attached and
incorporated, to Palmetto Homes of Miami, Inc. ("Palmetto"), for the development of affordable
housing for low to moderate income persons; and
WHEREAS, the Administration recommends that the property located at 1630 Northwest 58
Terrace, Miami, Florida, remain with DOSP for the development of a public parking lot;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. Resolution No. 06-0125, adopted February 23, 2006, is amended in the following
particulars:{1}
"Resolution No. 06-0125
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to accept a Quit Claim Deed from DOSP, to
the City, for the conveyance of the Properties Property, as legally described in "Exhibit A,"
attached and incorporated.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized {1} to convey, with parcel reverter provisions,
the Properties Property to Palmetto, for the development of affordable housing for low to
moderate income persons.
Section 3. The property located at 1630 Northwest 58 Terrace, Miami, Florida, shall remain with
DOSP for the development of a public parking lot.

Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor. {2}
Footnotes:
{1} Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be
added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted
and unchanged material.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
