WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 04-0335, adopted May 27, 2004, the City Commission accepted the bids of Martin's Lamar Uniforms, for Group 1 (Alternate Bid), and Harrison's Uniforms, for Groups 2 through 9, for the provision uniforms and accessories, for the Department of Police, for a one-year period, with the option to renew for two (2) addition one-year periods, at a first year annual amount not to exceed $950,000, subject to an increase of 4% for Martin's Lamar Uniform for each year thereafter, and an increase of 6% for Harrison Uniforms for each year thereafter; and WHEREAS, said funds were allocated from the Department of Police General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 001000,290201.6.075; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 05-0188, adopted March 24, 2005, the City Commission included additional sources of funds to be added to said Resolution; and WHEREAS, the Department of Police has determined that the uniforms awarded under Group 1 (Alternate Bid), does not meet their requirements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Resolution No. 05-0188, adopted March 24, 2005, is further amended in the following particulars: (1) "Resolution No. 05-0188 Section 1.
