HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-06-0262City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-06-0262 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 06-00624 Final Action Date: 5/11/2006 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 05-0462, ADOPTED JULY, 28, 2005, TO MODIFY THE FUNDING SOURCES ALLOCATED FOR THE CONTRACT WITH SOUTHEASTERN ENGINEERING CONTRACTORS, INC. ,FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "FLAGAMI/WEST END STORM WATER PUMP STATION NOS. 1, 2, 3 AND 4 AND FAIRLAWN STORM SEWER PUMP STATION PROJECT, PHASE IIA, B-50696 AND B-50702, ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR SAID PURPOSE, FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. B-50696 AND B-50702. WHEREAS, the Administration received bids for construction services for the project entitled "Flagami / West End Storm Water Pump Station Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 and Fairlawn Storm Sewer Pump Station Project, Phase IIA, B-50696 and B-50702," pursuant to formal Invitation for Bids No. 04-05- 080, issued May 24, 2005; and WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 05-0462, July 28, 2005, authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement between the City of Miami and Southeastern Engineering Contractors, Inc., as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to said bids, for construction services; and WHEREAS, the funding sources stated in said Resolution require modification; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings found in the Preamble of this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Resolution No. 05-0462, adopted July 28, 2005 is amended in the following particulars: {1} "Resolution No. 05-0462 Section 2. The bid of Southeastern Engineering Contractors, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 04-05-080, received June 24, 2005, for the project entitled "Flagami/ West End Storm Water Pump Station Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 and Fairlawn Storm Sewer Pump Station Project, Phase IIA, B-50696 and B-50702," in the total amount not to exceed $ 6,714,352.40, with funds allocated from CIP No. 352211, in the amount of $ 3,897,328.40, OP No. 352199, in tif-e amount of $ 252,0-24, and CIP 4 352284, City of Miami Page 1 of 2 File Id: 06-00624 (Version: 1) Printed On: 1/23/2017 File Number: 06-00624 Enactment Number: R-06-0262 in the amount of $2,565,000 CIP Nos. B-50696 and B50702, as set forth on the Formal Bid Document and the Department of Capital Improvements Project Fact Sheet, attached and incorporated. *1? Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{2} Footnotes: {1} Words and/or figures stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words and/or figures shall be added. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material. {2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
