JUSTIFICATION:
The purpose and objective of the Police Explorers Program is to provide the young men and
women within the Miami area an opportunity to gain an insight into a career in law enforcement,
and to stimulate interest in and give consideration to further training and education for a law
enforcement career.

The Police Explorers assist police personnel in crowd, traffic and pedestrian control during
football games parades, bicycle races, walk-a-thons, and other public events.
