HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislation* lo City of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American .Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci,miami.fl.us File IN umber: 06-00590 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF CSV-USA INC., YAVOY, INC., DIB/A GUAYABERA, ETC., AND WALPATS INDUSTRIES, INC., THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDERS, RECEIVED DECEMBER 14, 2005, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BUDS NO. 04-05-102, FOR THE PURCHASE OF T-SHIRTS, GOLF SHIRTS, GUAYABERAS AND CUBAVERAS WITH EMBROIDERY AND/OR SILK SCREENING CITYWIDE, TO BE UTILIZED BY VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS, ON AN AS -NEEDED, CONTRACT BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL TWO (2) YEAR PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW. FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, AT AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $75,000, FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $300,000; ALLOCATING, FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS' GENERAL OPERATING BUDGETS, SUBJECT TO BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bids of CSV-USA Inc., Yavoy, Inc. d/b/a Guayabera, etc. and Walpats Industries, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidders, received December 14, 2005, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 04-05-102, for T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, Guayaberas and Cubaveras with embroidery and/or silk screening Citywide, to be utilized by various user departments, on an as -needed contract basis, for an initial two (2) year period, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods, at an annual amount not to exceed $75,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $300,000, is accepted, with funds allocated from the various departments' general operating budgets, subject to budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 2.
