HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.cLmiami.fi.us File Number: 06-00587 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), RATIFYING AND ADOPTING THE PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET OF THE MIAMI SPORTS AND EXHIBITION AUTHORITY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $619,040, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2004 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2005. WHEREAS, the provisions of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, require that the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority ("MSEA") establish a fiscal year coinciding with that of the City of Miami, and that the operating budget be submitted for appropriate consideration by the City Commission; and WHEREAS, the proposed budget, attached hereto, identifies categories for compensation and benefits, administrative, professional and consultant services, and capital expenditures totaling $619,040; and WHEREAS, MSEA's budget for Fiscal Year 2004-2005 has been reviewed and approved by the MSEA Board of Directors; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The proposed operating budget of MSEA, in the amount of $619,040, for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2004 and ending September 30, 200E, attached and incorporated, is ratified and adopted. Section 3.
