A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE CONTRACT AWARDED TO ONE CROW,
INC., PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 04-0351, ADOPTED MAY 27, 2004,
FURTHER AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 05-0260, ADOPTED APRIL 28, 2005,
FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "OVERTOWN STORM SEWER PUMP STATION
UPGRADES, B-5650D," FOR ADDITIONAL WORK, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $186,031.87, INCREASING THE CONTRACT FROM $346,000 TO
$532,031.87; ALLOCATING FUNDS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$186,031,87, FOR SAID INCREASE, FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO. B-5650D; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT
NO. 2, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID PURPOSE;
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 05-0260, TO REFLECT SAID INCREASE.
Final Action Date:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 04-0351, adopted May 27, 2004, the City Commission
accepted the bid of One Crow ("Contractor") for the project entitled, "Overtown Storm Sewer Pump
Station Rehabilitation" ("Project"), in an amount not to exceed $286,000; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 05-0260, adopted April 28, 2005, the City Commission
approved Amendment No. 1 to the contract, in an amount not to exceed $60,000; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 was not executed and will be incorporated into Amendment No. 2,
and
WHEREAS, the items contained in Amendment No. 2, attached and incorporated, involve change
order items; and
WHEREAS, the additional work and costs are necessary to complete the Project; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Capital Improvements and Transportation has negotiated the scope
and cost for the additional work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble of this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. An increase in the in the contract awarded to the Contractor, pursuant to Resolution No.

"Resolution No. 05-0260
Section 1. The bid of One Crow, Inc., for the project entitled "Overtown Stormwater
Pump Station Upgrades 3rd Bidding, B-5650D," is accepted, in the amount not to
exceed $346,000 $532,031.87, with funds allocated, in an amount not to exceed
$24 900 $532,031.87 for construction costs, plus $76,320 for estimated expenses
incurred by the City of Miami, from Capital improvements Project ("CIP") Account
No. 352216, in an amount not to exceed $189,119.75, CIP No. 313855, in an
amount not to exceed $173,200.25, for total project costs not to exceed $P122,320
$608,351.87, as set forth in the Tabulation of Bids document and the Department of
Public Works Fact Sheet, attached and incorporated.
Section 4. Funds, in an amount not to exceed $186,031.87, for said increase, are allocated from
Capital. Improvement Project No. B-5650D.
Section 4. The City Manager is authorized{2} to execute Amendment No.. 2, in substantially the
attached form, for said purpose.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{3}

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed
by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
