HomeMy WebLinkAboutPre LegislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hail 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, Ft 33133 www.cl.miami.fi.us ME I File Number: 05-00424 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ACCEPTING THE BID OF METRO EXPRESS, INC., FOR THE PROJECT " ENTITLED "CITYWIDE PEDESTRIAN ROUTES IMPROVEMENTS-2005, 8-43114 , IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $400,500; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ACCOUNT NO. 341330, IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $400,500, FOR CONTRACT COSTS, PLUS $74,500, FOR ESTIMATED EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI, FOR TOTAL PROJECT COSTS, IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $475,000, AS SET FORTH ON THE TABULATION OF BIDS DOCUMENT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT FACT SHEET, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid of Metro Express, Inc. for the project entitled "Citywide Pedestrian Routes Improvements-2005, B-43114," in the proposed amount not to exceed $400,500, is accepted, with funds allocated from Capital improvements Account No. 341330, in the amount not to exceed $400,500, for contract costs plus $74,500, for estimated expenses incurred by the City of Miami, for total project costs, Departm Department of Public Workshe amount not to exceed $P Project Fact Sheet, attached and Tabulation incorporated. Document an p Section 2. The City Manager is authorized {1 } to execute an Agreement, in substantially the attached form, for said project. Section 3.
