Purpose of Item: To revise capital project appropriations to reflect reallocation of Homeland Defense/Neighborhood Improvement Bond funds and add new revenue sources into the respective projects. Background Information: The Dept. of Parks & Recreation had previously applied for and obtained a grant from the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) in the amount of $425,000 for the restoration of the Dinner Key Spoil Islands. This resolution revises the Capital Projects Appropriations Resolution and appropriates the FIND grant into CIP No. 333124 for the restoration of the Dinner Key Spoil Islands as part of the Virrick Community Water Sports Center project . Further, Homeland Defense/Neighborhood Improvement Bond allocations are being adjusted, among approved projects, to ensure the continuous flow of production and construction schedules. Revenue from three revocable license agreements for the use of the Virginia Key Rowing Center are also being appropriated for improvements to the facility.
