A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO TAKE ANY AND ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT
THE CITY OF MIAMI'S "SHOWMOBILE" APPEARS AT THE "DISCOVER MIAMI"
CELEBRATION TO BE HELD ON MARCH 25, 2006.
WHEREAS, "Discover Miami," is a celebration that will be held in the City of Miami ("City") on
March 25, 2006; and
WHEREAS, Sosyete Koukouy Miami, Inc., will sponsor events in conjunction with said Citywide
celebration from eight a.m. to seven p.m. and will be centered at Northeast 59 Street and 2 Avenue,
Miami, Florida; and
WHEREAS, numerous people are expected to participate in these festivities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is directed to take any and all actions necessary to ensure that the
City's "Showmobile" appears at the "Discover Miami" celebration to be held on March 25, 2006.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
