HOW IS THIS ITEM GOING TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER / CITIZENS? The Police Department was allocated $2,046,500 of the total fuel contract awarded to the Department of Police and the Department of General Services. Based on financial analysis of the contract balance, it is projected that an additional $400,000 will be needed for the continued provision of fuel through September 30, 2005, at a total annual contract cost of $2,446,500.
