Subject: Emergency Repair to the two 50 ft. light towers located at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater.
Purpose of Item:
The nature of this contract is to establish an agreement for the provision of emergency repair to two
50 ft. light towers located at the Bayfront Park Amphitheater. The cost is an amount not to exceed
$65,896.00.
Background Information:
The Bayfront Park Management Trust identified a need to immediately repair two 50 ft. light towers
located at the the Bayfront PArk Amphitheater which provide overhead light during amphitheater
events. The repair is submitted for ratification as an emergency item because the repair is essential to
the safety and convenience of the Clty and the Trust. The Trust ast its board meeting of December
12, 2005, agreed with the executive director's finding of an emergency and authorized the repair of the
light towers through resolution no. 05-068 in an amount not toexceed $65,896.00. Funds are allocated
in the 2005-06 Bayfront Park Management Trust Capital Improvement Budget.
