Subject: Increase contract for the purchase of additional storage needs.
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution of the Miami City Commission authorizing an increase in the contract pursuant to
Resolution No. 02-140, adopted on February 14, 2002, further amended by Resolution No. 04-0060,
adopted February 12, 2004, further amended by Resoultion No. 05-0062, adopted January 27, 2005,
for the purchase of additional storage, for the Department of Police, in an amount not to exceed
$23,000, from $60,000 to $83,000 annually.
Background Information:
The Department of Police requires an increase to cover rental costs through February 24, 2006 in an
amount of $5,000 and rental costs from February 25, 2006 through February 24, 2007 in an amount of
$18,000. Therefore, requiring a total increase amount not to exceed $23,000 for additional storage
of records, miscellaneous equipment and supplies.
