JUSTIFICATION:
The Department of Police requires an increase to cover rental costs through February 24, 2006 in
an amount of $5,000 and rental costs from February 25, 2006 through February 24, 2007, in an
amount of $18,000. Therefore requiring a total increase amount not to exceed $23, 000 for
additional storage of records, miscellaneous equipment and supplies.

This item ensures that records, miscellaneous equipment and supplies are properly retained and
stored pursuant to Florida State Law.
