This Amendment to that certain Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Miami,
a municipal corporation of the State of Florida ("City") and Black Economic Development
Coalition, Inc. ("Subrecipient') dated October 3, 2005 (the "Agreement") is entered into this
day of , 2006.
RECITAL
WHEREAS, the City and Sub -recipient, have heretofore entered into the
Agreement which sets forth the terms and conditions pursuant to which the City provided
Subrecipient the sum of Forty Thousand ($40,000.00) to carry out Economic Development
— Facade Improvements activities as authorized by the City Commission through
Resolution No. R-05-0477; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 01-632, passed and adopted by the City of
Miami Commission on July 10, 2001 allows for automatic roll over awards for multi -year
projects funded by the CDBG, HOME, HOPWA and ESG Programs
WHEREAS, all the funds are subject to the same terms and conditions contained
in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the City and
Subrecipient hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. Section 3.2 of this Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:
The term of the Agreement shall begin July 1, 2005 and end on June 30, 2006. Any
costs incurred by the Subrecipient after this date will not be paid by the City.
2. Exhibit B of the Memorandum of Agreement (Work Program) is amended to the new
Exhibit B attached to this Agreement.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, the City and Subrecipient have caused this instrument to be
executed by their respective officials as of the date of the first above written.
