Mr. Joseph H. Ganguzza offered the following resolution and moved its adoption
Resolution:
AFTER CONSIDERING THE FACTORS SET FORTH IN ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 11000, AS
AMENDED, THE ZONING BOARD RECOMMENDED APPROVAL TO THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE OFFICIAL VACATION AND CLOSURE OF ALLEYS WEST OF NORTH MIAMI
AVENUE BETWEEN NORTHWEST 35TH STREET AND NORTHWEST 34TH STREET, LEGALLY
DESCRIBED AS EXHIBIT "A" (HEREBY ATTACHED), PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE
COUNTY, FLORIDA; ZONED C-2 LIBERAL COMMERCIAL, R-2 TWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
AND R-3 MULTIFAMILY MEDIUM -DENSITY RESIDENTIAL. THIS RECOMMENDATION IS
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT: 1) THE
APPLICANT SHALL COMPLY WITH CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THE PLAT AND STREET
COMMITTEE APPROVAL AND 2) THIS APPROVAL IS SUBJECT TO APPLICANT
SUBMITTING ARCHITECTURAL AND LANDSCAPE PLANS FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
BY THE PLANNING DIRECTOR, TO DETERMINE ITS COMPATIBILITY WITHIN THE
EXISTING NEIGHBORHOOD.
