Subject: Avalon Storm Sewers Project, Phase I & II, B-50685
Purpose of Item:
To accept the bid of Williams Paving Co., Inc. in the amount of $3,094,286.00 for the project entitled
"Avalon Storm Sewers Project, Phase I & II, B-50685" and to authorize the City Manager to enter
into contract on behalf of the City, in substantially the attached form.
Background Information:
Eight (8) bids were received on December 6, 2005. Williams Paving Co., Inc. is the lowest
responsive and responsible bidder located within Miami -Dade County at 11300 N.W. South River
Drive, Medley, Florida 33178.
Amount of Total Bid: $3,094,286.00
Construction Cost Estimate: $4,945,000
