Soldevilla REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: December 20, 2005 Bid No. 04-05-128 FILE : Pursuant to careful review of the above bid submission, Wausau Tile, Inc. was selected as the most responsive bidder because they met all bid specifications with no exceptions. The two (2) lowest bidders were not selected because they did not meet all bid specifications accordingly and the reasons are detailed as follows: • Contract Services, Inc. 1. Liner capacity is 40 gallons instead of required 41 gallons which is necessary and consistent with existing litter containers in stock and citywide. 2. Model has no door according to tabulation sheet, which is a major requirement to reduce employee injury and liability issues relative to servicing containers. 3. Containers are not metal armor coated which is a requirement of the specifications and states no substitutes for metal form and metal armor containers. • Petersen Mfg. Co., Inc. 1. The height and diameter of container is 27" x 43.61" instead of the specified requirements of 25" x 38" which is consistent with existing litter containers in stock and citywide. 2. Containers are not metal armor coated which is a requirement of the specifications and states no substitutes for metal form and metal armor containers.
