Conway, P.E., Director DATE: Capital Improvements & Transportation FROM: Jose . go, P.E., Project Manager Capital Improvements & Transportation December 8, 2005 FILE: SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Recommendation For RFP 04- 05-109 for Virginia Key Environmental Assessment REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: The City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 04-05-109 for the Virginia Key Environmental Assessment. The evaluation of RFP has been conducted in two Parts. The first Part was to evaluate the proposers based on their qualifications to perform the Assessment Phases of the Project. Based on the evaluation for Part 1, a short-list of three firms was developed to participate in Part II, which would evaluate the three firms based on their ability to perform the actual remediation work. The highest ranked firm would then be determined by combining the score for each Part to determine the highest score. Based on the findings of Part I the following firms were invited to participate In Part II.: 1. Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. 2. Intercounty U.S. Labs 3. WRS Infrastructure and Environment, Inc The Evaluation Committee met on December 8, 2005 to evaluate the three proposals received in response to Part II. Based on the committee's review the proposals for Part II were ranked as follows: 1. Intercounty U.S. Labs 2. Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. 3. WRS Infrastructure and Environment, Inc Based on the combined final scores for Parts t and II the final ranking of the firms is as follows: 1. Intercounty U.S. Labs 2. Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. 3. WRS infrastructure and Environment, Inc I have attached a brief synopsis of the Evaluation Committee's findings in their review of the proposals.
