Co(yty y, P.E., Director Capital Improvements & Transportation DATE: November 17, 2005 FILE: SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Recommendation For RFP 04-05-109 for Virginia Key Environmental Assessment REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: Evaluation Committee Recommendation The City issued a Request for Qualifications (RFP), No. 04-05-109 for the Virginia Key Environmental Assessment. The RFP contained a two part process for the evaluation and selection of the most qualified firm. As reflected on the attached memorandum the short -listing of the top three firms was approved on October 5, 2005. The Evaluation Committee (Committee) met on December 6, 2005 to evaluate the proposals for Part II and to select the top rated firm. Based on their evaluation the Committee has ranked the firms as follows: 1. Intercounty U.S. Labs 2. Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. 3. WRS Infrastructure and Environment, Inc. I have attached a copy of the Committee's findings in their review of the proposal. The Committee is recommending that the City of Miami enter into negotiations with the top rated firm, WRS infrastructure and Envi •nment, Inc.
