A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION PROVIDING SUPPORT IN
THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,000, TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BLACK HISTORY
MONTH COMMITTEE, FOR THEIR EVENT TO BE HELD ON JANUARY 27, 2006,
AT THE MIAMI RIVERSIDE CENTER BUILDING; ALLOCATING FUNDS, IN THE
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $500, FROM THE DISTRICT 3 SPECIAL EVENTS
ACCOUNT NO. 001000.921054.6.289 AND AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $500,
FROM THE DISTRICT 2 ROLLOVER ACCOUNT NO. 001000.920920.6.930.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Miami City Commission provides support in the amount not to exceed $1,000, to
the City of Miami Black History Month Committee, for their event to be held on January 27, 2006, at
the Miami Riverside Center building, with funds allocated in the amount not to exceed $500, from the
District 3 Special Events Account No. 001000.921054.6.289 and an amount not to exceed $500, from
the District 2 Rollover Account No. 001000.920920.6.930.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
