'05=00293' Final Action Date:4/14/2005 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), ACCEPTING THE BID OF ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS, INC., FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "INLETS RETROFIT FOR THE WAGNER CREEK BASIN PROJECT, B-30221" IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $196,480; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM PUBLIC WORKS GENERAL ACCOUNT NO. 001000.311003.6.340, IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $196,480 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COSTS AND $7,520 TO COVER THE ESTIMATED EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI, FOR AN ESTIMATED TOTAL PROJECT COST NOT TO EXCEED $204, 000; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, WITH SAID FIRM, FOR A PERIOD OF 120 WORKING DAYS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Bid of Environmental Performance Systems, Inc., for the project entitled "Inlets Retrofit for the Wagner Creek Basin Project, B- 30221", in the amount of $196,480 is accepted, with funds allocated from Public Works General Account No. 001000,311003.6.340, in the amount of $196,480 to cover contract costs plus $7,520 to cover estimated expensesincurred by the City of Miami, for an estimated total project cost not to exceed $204,000. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized{1 } to execute an Agreement, in substantially the attached form, with said firm, for a period of 120 working days. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{2} Footnotes: {1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. {2} if the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted.
