A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT A RIGHT-OF-WAY DEED, IN
SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR THE EXTENSION OF NORTH
BAYSHORE DRIVE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FROM BISCAYNE BAY OF MIAMI, LLC;
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY
DEED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DIRECT THE CITY ADMINISTRATION TO
AMEND THE CITY OF MIAMI MUNICIPAL ATLAS TO DESIGNATE THE PROPERTY
IDENTIFIED IN SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY DEED, AS AN OFFICIAL PUBLIC ROADWAY;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DIRECT THE CITY
ADMINISTRATION TO NOTIFY THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY PROPERTY
APPRAISER OF THE CHANGE IN STATUS AND OWNERSHIP OF THE
PROPERTY IDENTIFIED IN SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY DEED.
WHEREAS, Biscayne Bay of Miami, LLC, the owner of land at 527 Northeast 27th Street, Miami,
Florida, has offered to dedicate land as a public right-of-way to accomplish the extension of North
Bayshore Drive between Northeast 27th Street and the current terminus of North Bayshore Drive
south of Northeast 28th Street, Miami, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the extension of North Bayshore Drive at this location is consistent with the Special
Class II Permit for the "Lyght" project issued by the City of Miami's ("City's") Department of Planning
and has the support of the City's Departments of Planning, Transportation and Public Works and the
Edgewater Homeowner's Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept a right-of-way
deed for said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Commission of the City of Miami, Florida:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized {1} and directed to accept a Right -of -Way Deed, in
substantially the attached form, for the extension of North Bayshore Drive, Miami, Florida, from
Biscayne Bay of Miami, LLC.
Section 3. The recordation of the herein said Right -of -Way Deed in the Public Records of
Miami -Dade County, Florida, is approved and authorized.
Section 4. The City Manager is authorized{1} to direct the City Administration to amend the City
Municipal Atlas to designate the property identified in said Right -of -Way Deed, as an official public
roadway.

Section 5. The City Manager is further authorized{1} to direct the City Administration to notify the
Miami -Dade County Property Appraiser of the change in status and ownership of the property
identified in said Right -of -Way Deed.
Section 6. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor. {2}
Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter
and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date of it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
