HomeMy WebLinkAboutProduction ScheduleExhibit A - Production Schedule Parade 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 8:OOam 1) Barricades arrive and distributed to the various locations. 2) Commodore is closed to traffic with barricades. 3) .2 police officers show up (must have copy of permit available.) 1 officer should be place at both ends of Commodore Plaza with a Mangohead with Tine -up and vehicle passes & instructions 10am 1) Mangoheads meet for assignments and radios, 2) Chalk street for Tine -up and vehicle locations (all vehicles enter Commodore Plaza from Grand Avenue.) 10:30am Generator & Sound should be in place on Main Highway across from Greenstreets.. If second sound set up it will be by CocoWalk. 11:30am Shell Lumber truck for Little Miss Mango must be in place at the end of Commodore on the Main Highway side. Noon 1) Little Miss Mango Truck is decorated & prepared for pageant. 2) The rest of the police officers show up for roll call 1pm 1) The rest of the barricades are put in place and the streets are closed to traffic with police officers 2) .First half of the line-up should be in place, Any vehicle/float showing up after 1pm is placed behind the Krishnas. 2) MC Buzz calls all Little Miss Mango contestants to the stage. 3) Pick-up truck and sellers on foot go down parade route selling King Mango t-shirts and posters. Alternative way to get a flu vaccine. 4) King Mango's Homeland Security Force checks strut route for funny looking people. 5) The King Mango Swat Team will clear the route of West Nile flies. 1:15pm Little Miss Mango Pageant begins. 1:30pm All strutters should be at their place in the line-up. Any vehicle/float showing up after 1:30 pm is placed behind at the end. 2pm The official countdown begins and the banana is dropped - the King Mango Strut begins. 3 to 3:30pm 1) The last group should be turning into Commodore Plaza from Grand Avenue. Some groups will go around twice. 2) If there is a post- Strut party, The Battle of the Bands/Music Massacre begins: All the bands will continue playing in different areas of the Grove. 3:30 to 4pm Remove barricades from Main Highway, Grand Avenue, and MacFarlane. 4pm Open streets to traffic (except Commodore Plaza if Post -Strut is approved and funded. Post -Strut Party 4 to 8:00 pm (If approved and funded) , 7:30pm 1) Party on Commodore Plaza Ends 8pm 2) Commodore Plaza is opened to traffic.
