Dear Bobby,
First of all, thank you and your office for giving me the extra time to complete the application.
Most of the information I needed was in my computer and I didn't have access to it until this
past Monday morning. Like I said in my email to you, the application had to take a back seat to
my more immediate mold problem growing as a result of the water damage cause by Hurricane
Katrina. And like I said before, in the scheme of things, I can't complain - I still have a home.
Enclosed please find King Mango Strut's application, the affidavit of sending the notices, the
notice and proof of notification. To date I have received almost all the green cards back.
The only difference with this year's event from last year's event is that the event is on a
Saturday. This is because Christmas and January 1st are on a Sunday. The event is also on New
Year's Eve (Dec 31st), but I don't expect a problem with that because our event is over before
any New Year Eve event begins.
Like the other years, I would like to get the estimate of cost from the city department showing
two costs. One is the estimate for the parade itself up to 4 p.m. and the second estimate to
continue on Commodore Plaza until 8 p.m. The estimated number of people for the second
estimate is about a quarter of the parade estimate (about 1,200).
If you need any additional information please let me.
Sincerely,
Antoinette Baldwin
