Authority (DDA) Board of Directors
Attached please find DDA Resolution No. 35/2005 passed and adopted July 15, 2005
nominating the following individuals to the DDA Board of Directors:
• Carlos Migoya
• Sergio Rok
• Loretta Cockrurn
• Jorge Perez
As you know, the City Commission must confirm nominees. Please include these items
on the next available City Commission agenda. Please let me know on what date this item
will be placed on the City Commission agenda. If you have any questions, please do not

RESOLUTION NO. 35/2005
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIAMI DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUHORITY ("DDA")
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOMINATING
CANDIDATES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY; SAID
NOMINEES TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE MIAMI CITY
COMMISSION FOR CONFIRMATION.
WHEREAS, the DDA Board of Directors adopted Rules of Procedures on November 19,
1999 setting forth procedures for appointments to the DDA Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, there are seats on the board whose term will expire on August 31, 2005; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Rules of Procedures, the DDA Board of Directors formed a
Nominating Committee to identify and consider qualified individuals for possible appointment to
the DDA Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the nominating process, the Nominating Committee
submitted recommended nominees to the DDA Board for consideration; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the DDA accepts the recommendation of the
Nominating Committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIAMI DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA.
Section I. The recitals are true and correct and are adopted by reference and
incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.

Section 2. The DDA Board of Directors hereby accepts the recommendation of the
Nominating Committee and nominates the following individuals to the Downtown Development
Authority Board of Directors:
CARLOS MIGOYA •
SERGIO ROK
LORETTA COCKRUM
JORGE PEREZ
Section 3. The names of said nominees shall be submitted to the Miatni City
Commission for confirmation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15* day of July, 2005.
