City Commission Approval P&Z File ID: 04-01.287a with the following conditions:
Condition 1: Change Recommendation PR-10 to add the "Miatni River Greenway Action
Plan" for Policy PR-1.1.11
Condition 2: No objection to Recommendation PR-14 for Policy PR-1.2.4.
Condition 3: Change Recommendations PR-22 and PR-23 to add "Lummus Landing" for
Policy PR-1.5.4 and Policy PR-1.5.5.
Condition 4: No objection to Recommendation PR-24 for Policy PR-1.5.8.
Condition 5: Change Recommendation CM-2 to add "establi.sh a new date after
consultation with appropriate agencies" for Policy CM-1.1.2.
Condition 6: Change Recommendation CM-3 to add "establish a new date after
consultation with appropriate agencies" for Policy CM-1.1.3.
Condition 7: Change Recommendation CM-12 to add the "Miami River Greenway
Action Plan" for Policy CM- 2.1.5.
Condition 8: Change Recommendation CM-14 to add the "Miami River Greenway
Action Plan, and to continue to implement its design guidelines" for Policy CM- 2.1.7.
Condition 9: Change Recommendation NR-2 to add "establish a new date after
consultation with appropriate agencies" for Policy NR-1.1.2.
Condition 10: Change Recommendation NR-3 to add "establish a new date after
consultation with appropriate agencies" for Policy NR-1.1.3.
Condition 11: Change Recommendation MCNP-2 to add "Miami River Commission next
to the Trust for Public Lands" to the Recreation and Open Space Element.
Condition 12: Change Appendix B, "Consistency with Chapter 163, F.S.", to insert the
consistency with Chapters 163.060 & 163.065 (Miami River Commission establish
legislation and the Miami River improvement Act).
Condition 13: Revise Appendix A to reflect the corrections of the Miami River
Commission Meeting Notes for July 15, 2004 (Pages A-58 & A-59) and for July 28, 2004
(Page A-63).
Condition 14: Change Recommendation PA-6 to state, "to encourage water related/water
dependent uses along the upper river, and to also encourage water taxi and water pleasure
craft uses along the entire river, while not precluding residential uses without such
activities", for Policy PA-3.1.1.
Condition 15: City staff shall continue to work with the Miami Neighborhood United
Group regarding concerns, issues, and suggestions relating to the Evaluation and
Appraisal Report of the Miami Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan.
