HomeMy WebLinkAboutPublic Hearing AdCITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on November 17, 2005 after 9:00 AM in the City of Miami Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of ratifying, approving and confirming the City Manager's finding of an emergency, waiving the requirements for competitive sealed bidding procedures in connection with the award of bid to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to an informal bidding process for the acquisition and installation of high quality fiberglass decking for the piers and docks at the Dinner Key Marina. Pursuant to Florida Statute 255.20 (1) (c)1., the provisions of this subsection is not applicable due to the fact that the project is being undertaken to repair an existing public facility because of damage caused by Hurricane Wilma. All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning such proposed award. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based.
