A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPROVING THE SALARY OF
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE BAYFRONT PARK MANAGEMENT TRUST
IN THE ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $106,000.
WHEREAS, the Bayfront Park Management Trust ("Trust") was created by the Miami City
Commission to direct, operate, manage and maintain all aspects of Bayfront Park and Bicentennial
Park; and
WHEREAS, Section 38-105 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, further
authorizes the Trust to adjust the salary for the Executive Director of the Trust, subject to City
Commission approval; and
WHEREAS, the Trust approved the Executive Director's annual salary at its November 7, 2005,
board meeting; and
WHEREAS, the approved salary is $106,000, annually, and is retroactive to October 1, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director has agreed to accept said salary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The salary of the Executive Director of the Trust in the annual amount of
$106,000, retroactive to October 1, 2005, as approved by the Trust at its November 7, 2005 board
meeting, is approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.{1}

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
