A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 05-0342, ADOPTED MAY 26, 2005, AND RESOLUTION NO. 05-0380,
ADOPTED JUNE 9, 2005, EXTENDING THE PROJECT BOUNDARIES FOR THE
MODEL CITY -FLORAL PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, FROM NORTHWEST
43RD STREET TO NORTHWEST 57TH STREET, MIAMI, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 05-0342, adopted May 26, 2005, the City Commission awarded the
amount of $1,500,000, to the City of Miami ("City") Department of Capital Improvement Projects for the Model
City -Floral Park Street Improvement Project ("Project"); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 05-0380, adopted June 9, 2005, the City Commission awarded the
amount of $562,676 to the City Department of Capital Improvement Projects for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the boundaries for Project are Northwest 40th Street, Northwest 43rd Street, Northwest 19th
Avenue and Northwest 17th Avenue, Miami, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Administration is requesting extending the Project boundaries for the Project from
Northwest 43rd Street to Northwest 57th Street, Miami, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference
and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2, Resolution No. 05-0342, adopted May 26, 2005, and Resolution No. 05-0380, adopted June 9,
2005, are amended to extending the Project boundaries from Northwest 43rd Street to Northwest 57th Street,
Miami, Florida.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the
Mayor. { 1 }

{ 1 }If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
