Purpose of Item:
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF 31st YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK
GRANT ("CDBG") FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $200,000, FROM CITY OF MIAMI-
BUILDING DEPARTMENT- UNSAFE STRUCTURES; ALLOCATING SAID FUNDS TO CITY
OF MIAMI DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE DEMOLITION OF
UNSAFE STRUCTURES.
Background Information:
• Pursuant to Resolution No. 05-0380, adopted on June 9, 2005, the City Commission awarded City
of Miami Building Department- Unsafe Structures, the amount of $200,000
• The Administration is requesting the amount of $200,000 be transferred to the Department of
Community Development for the demolition of unsafe structures;
