A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF
STEIN PAINT (PRIMARY) AND LANCO AND HARRIS (SECONDARY), RECEIVED
JULY 18, 2005, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BIDS NO. 04-05-056R, FOR
THE PROVISION OF PAINT AND PAINT SUPPLIES, ON AN AS -NEEDED
CONTRACT BASIS, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PURCHASING, TO BE
UTILIZED CITYWIDE BY VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES, FOR
AN INITIAL TWO (2) YEAR PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO
(2) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, AT AN ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT
OF $75,000, FOR FISCAL YEAR ("FY") 2005-2006; ALLOCATING FUNDS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $75,000, FOR FY 2005-2006, FROM THE GENERAL OPERATING
BUDGETS AND GRANTS OF THE VARIOUS USER DEPARTMENTS AND
AGENCIES, WITH FUTURE FY FUNDING SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF
FUNDS AND BUDGET APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED.
RF IT RFSQI VED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF-MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bids of Stein Paint (Primary) and Lanco and Harris (Secondary), received July 18,
2005, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 04-05-056R, for the provision of paint and paint supplies, on
an as- needed contract basis, for the Department of Purchasing, to be utilized Citywide by various user
departments and agencies, for an initial two (2) year period, with the option to renew for two (2)
additional one-year periods, at an estimated annual amount of $75,000, for Fiscal Year ("FY") 2005-
2006, are accepted, with funds in the amount of $75,000, for FY 2005-2006, allocated from the
General Operating Budgets and grants of the various user departments and agencies, with future FY
funding subject to the availability of funds and budget approval at the time of need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes;
{1 } If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
