A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE PROPOSED ANNUAL PLAN AND BUDGET OF THE MODEL
CITY COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION DISTRICT TRUST ("TRUST") FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2005 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,
2006, ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") approved the Model City Community Revitalization District
Trust ("Trust") pursuant to Ordinance No. 12082, adopted June 14, 2001,as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Trust is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of the City's revitalization and
redevelopment activities in the Model City Community Revitalization District; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.5-35 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended, requires a
budget, pertaining to the management, operations, maintenance and capital expenditures for the Trust,
be approved by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of the Trust adopted the attached Annual Plan and Budget for the Fiscal
Year ending September 30, 2006;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORI DA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Annual Plan and Budget for the Trust, for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1,
2005 and ending September 30, 2006, attached and incorporated, are approved.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}

Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective
immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
