I think it is a wonderful addition to this area that needs improvement and will be good for the stores and businesses. I am unable to personally attend this meeting because of my mother's failing health, the recent loss of my father and the fact that 1 am operating the business on my own. My husband and I started this business in 1998 and were very successful at first. In the past three years however we have seen a decline in our own auto business as well as those surrounding us. The corner property that once operated as Ramirez Auto Sales recently sold and there is a brand new residential development coming up in its place. I am being forced to go out of business because we can no longer make ends meet. I feel that the proposed residential development Ehden Place will be an improvement to this area and create more activity and sales to the local merchants.
