HomeMy WebLinkAboutSummary FormAGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM FILE ID: QS - 0 b 9 Date: 8/9/2005 Commission Meeting Date: 9/22/2005 Requesting Department: Economic Development fitiit15I pacca:8156 Type: ® Resolution ❑ Ordinance ❑ Emergency Ordinance ❑ Discussion Item ❑ Other Subject: Temporary Construction Easement with State of Florida Department of Transportation Purpose of Item: Resolution, with attachment(s), authorizing the City Manager to execute a Temporary Construction Easement ("Easement"), in substantially the attached form, with State of Florida Department of Transportation ("Grantee"), to use approximately 0.101 acres of City -owned property located at 1400 Northwest 37th Avenue, Miami, Florida, also known as Melreese Golf Course, for the purpose of granting Grantee the right to use as a construction staging area in connection with the construction of bridge structures for the Miami Intermodel Connector Interchange project, for a period not to exceed seven (7) months, and with other terms and conditions as more particularly set forth in the Easement. Background Information: The State of Florida Department of Transportation ("FDOT") has requested the City to grant it a temporary construction easement to use as a construction staging area for construction of bridge structures and reconstruction of LeJeune Road in connection with the Miami Intermodel Connector Interchange project. FDOT shall store miscellaneous materials, as well as loading and unloading construction equipment and have full ingress and egress to the property. The easement requires FDOT to construct a twenty (20) foot tall temporary steel sheet pile wall to minimize noise and visual distractions to golf activities. FDOT must restore the Easement area to the same condition or better than it was prior to FDOT's use. Budget Impact Analysis NO Is this item related to revenue? NO Is this item an expenditure?
